How to file an Equipment Request Form
The following resource page outlines how to request to utilize the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor equipment, such as the
- Flatbed Truck
- Sound System (Mic/Speakers)
- Podium
- Fat Cat
- Press Box
- Tables/Chairs
Requirements:
- Must be an Affiliated Union and in good standing.
Instructions:
- Complete the Equipment Request Form and email to the Director of Operations Rosie Cruz within ten (10) days prior to the event with the date and location of the event.
- If you are requesting the truck:
- We ask for a 16×4 ft. banner to be printed.*
- If you can not provide a printed banner, we can print one for you free of charge.
- The artwork must be submitted in 16×4 ft., PDF format and received ten (10) days before your event so we can print it on time.
- We ask for a 16×4 ft. banner to be printed.*
*The banner is used as a billboard to promote your action/event.
- If you would like music to be at your action/event:
- Please submit a Spotify playlist 4 days prior to the action/event.
- Lastly, a proof of Special Events Permit issued by LAPD must be shared and submitted.
- If you need assistance getting a City of Los Angeles Special Events Permit, the Organizing Department will need a 3 week notice to receive and work with affiliates on the permits.
