How to file an Equipment Request Form

The following resource page outlines how to request to utilize the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor equipment, such as the 

  • Flatbed Truck 
  • Sound System (Mic/Speakers)
  • Podium 
  • Fat Cat
  • Press Box
  • Tables/Chairs

Requirements:

  • Must be an Affiliated Union and in good standing.

Instructions:

  1. Complete the Equipment Request Form and email to the Director of Operations Rosie Cruz within ten (10) days prior to the event with the date and location of the event. 
  2. If you are requesting the truck:
    • We ask for a 16×4 ft. banner to be printed.*
      • If you can not provide a printed banner, we can print one for you free of charge.
      • The artwork must be submitted in 16×4 ft., PDF format and received ten (10) days before your event so we can print it on time. 

*The banner is used as a billboard to promote your action/event.

  1. If you would like music to be at your action/event:
    • Please submit a Spotify playlist 4 days prior to the action/event.
  1. Lastly, a proof of Special Events Permit issued by LAPD must be shared and submitted.
    • If you need assistance getting a City of Los Angeles Special Events Permit, the Organizing Department will need a 3 week notice to receive and work with affiliates on the permits.
