Justice
All workers, their families, and their communities deserve the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In a country that prides itself on “justice for all,” the system has consistently been built upon a foundation of inequality and continually exploited by those who seek to benefit from it.
We strive to be at the forefront of fighting systemic inequality – shaping our society and its structures to be not just equal, but equitable for all – by holding those in power and those representing us accountable.
We fight for the worker who is mistreated and whose labor is exploited to have the strength, stability, and freedom that comes with a union contract.
We fight for marginalized communities and peoples to have access to the opportunities and services that have been denied to them in various phases and facets of life: from access to education leading to good jobs, to lack of opportunities for good jobs with fair, living wages.
We empower those who have been made disadvantaged and disempowered to make changes in the system to advocate for themselves in a collective voice in the fight and struggle.
