CA Needs AB 701: Work Shouldn’t Hurt Challenge

On April 19, 2021, the Los Angeles labor movement and allies from across California went to Sacramento and built an interactive demonstration at the steps of the CA State Capitol building, where we challenged Assemblymembers to step into the shoes of an Amazon warehouse worker and try to meet their average quota, for just three minutes. Not one person met the quota.
We’re calling on our elected leaders to support AB 701, the warehousing policy aimed at decreasing worker injury and creating transparency of debilitating quotas from giant corporations, such as Amazon and Walmart.
