Teachers Association of Long Beach Formally Affiliates with the LA Fed

Earlier this month, the Teachers Association of Long Beach (TALB) voted overwhelmingly to officially affiliate with the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor.

This affiliation follows the budget cuts and layoffs the Long Beach Unified School District implemented this year.

By affiliating, TALB members join a powerful countywide labor movement that mobilizes in solidarity with one another.

LA County Labor Federation President Yvonne Wheeler joined TALB members at their election kickoff as they mobilize to support Proposition 3.
