Hundreds of Union Members Turn Out for “Union Yes on Prop 50” Kick Off

This November, Californians will be able to vote in a special election to redraw CA maps and counter Trump’s election rigging.

This is a fight for the future of our country — and the LA Labor movement is all in.

Following a weekend of Labor Day actions, the LA Labor movement kicked off our “Union Yes on Prop. 50” efforts with a rally, phone bank, and canvass. 

Labor leaders were joined by members of Congress, State and local elected officials, along with over two hundred rank-and-file union members ready to get the word out about Proposition 50, the “Election Rigging Response Act”. 

Volunteers knocked on 2800 doors and made 20,000 calls to voters, getting the word out on why union members are voting “Union Yes on Prop. 50”.
