LA County Signs Landmark Agreement with SEIU 721 to Resume Bargaining Immediately
10.16.24

Last month, over 1,200 LA County workers and members of SEIU 721 rallied in front of the Hall of Administration, warning that they would go on strike on October 10th unless management returned to the table and resumed bargaining.
Member concerns were the top priority, with over 20 Unfair Labor Practice charges filed against County Management.
Local 721 secured a landmark agreement with LA County administrators just days before their county-wide ULP strike—one that protects LA County members and gets them back to the bargaining table earlier than required.
Negotiations with LA County Management will resume next month.
