2026 Taste of Soul

Join us for Los Angeles’ Annual Taste of Soul  on Saturday, October 17, 2026 to enjoy the culture at the center of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor will be hosting a booth sharing union proud swag and information about the importance of the upcoming Midterm Election. 

What began as a bold idea has become Southern California’s largest free street festival. Over 21 years, more than three million people have gathered for music, food, family, culture and access to vital community resources.

A civil-rights leader, philanthropist and lifelong advocate for economic empowerment, Bakewell designed Taste of Soul to strengthen the community as much as entertain it. Today, the festival belongs to the people whose energy brings it back to life every year.
