Mon, 25 Nov 2019: Amazon – Stop Hosting Hate

Amazon provides web hosting for Palantir, a company that provides ICE with key software to gather and store data on undocumented immigrants. Amazon also provides web hosting to DHS and has tried selling its controversial facial recognition software, called Rekognition, to ICE. Join faith leaders and community at the brick-and-mortar Amazon store in Westfield Century City mall.

We demand that Amazon:

  1. Stop providing infrastructure to Palantir and any other Amazon partners who enable ICE;
  2. Terminate any existing contracts with government agencies that are separating families,
  3. End projects that encourage racial profiling and discrimination, such as Amazon’s facial recognition product;
