DESCRIPTION:The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) has authorized the Pfizer vaccine for adolescents ages 12 to 15 for emergency use\, opening up vaccinations to 17 million adolescents in the United States. To date\, California has administered more than 33.3 million vaccines\, resulting in about 50% of Californians receiving at least one dose. Thanks to our residents being so proactive against COVID-19\, California’s case rates\, hospitalizations\, and death rates have all declined significantly. \nFor children between the ages 12-15\, a parent or legal guardian must be present or the child must arrive with a completed consent form.
