LA Times Journalists Vote to Unionize!

Votes have been tallied by the National Labor Relations Board, and for the first time in the paper’s 136-year history, the Los Angeles Times is a unionized newsroom! Workers voted overwhelmingly 248-44 to be represented by the NewsGuild-Communications Workers of America.

Congratulations to the journalists and Organizing Committee, who have worked tirelessly on this effort for over three months. Workers across Los Angeles are proud to welcome the L.A. Times Guild into the union family!
