On Monday, October 15th, enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings and join us at IATSE 80 at 6 PM for a panel discussion regarding the book, Power Shift, and the critical role organized labor and workers seeking to form unions played in our past, and will play in our future.

When: Monday, October 15
Where: IATSE Local 80, 2520 West Olive Ave, Burbank, 91505

Written by David R. Ayón and George L. Pla, the book, Power Shift documents the rise of the political power Latinos and other working people in Los Angeles have amassed. Follow this story from 1949, with the election of the first Mexican American to serve on the Los Angeles City Council, until the present-day, in which California stands on the vanguard of the #Resistance.
