TPS Day of Action

Date: Sat, 13 Jan 2018

Tomorrow, join the TPS holder-led rally and march at Placita Olvera. From there, we will march to the detention center in solidarity with all nationalities and communities affected by TPS terminations. It’s time to stand with TPS families and tell the Trump administration that we will defeat their white supremacy and anti-immigrant hate!

It has been a rough few months for TPS holders, with Trump’s Department of Homeland Security announcing the termination of TPS for El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Sudan, and leaving Honduras in a further limbo with a no-decision until May. On January 8, 2018, the Trump administration ended TPS for El Salvadorans with a final 18-month extension (September 9, 2019). This decision affects the lives of some 260,000 TPS holders, their families, and our Los Angeles community, which is home to more TPS holders than any other city in the U.S.

We are committed to fighting for all countries under this program and permanent residency for all! Join us!
