Labor Studies-Political Action Skills

Date: Sat, 07 Apr 2018

With so much at stake for our region, our state and our nation, unions must prepare now for the 2018 political season. Taught by the LA Labor Fed’s Rusty Hicks, this timely and critically important two-Saturday, one unit-class will focus on how unions gain and hold influence in the political process. Designed for union leaders, staff and activists, Labor Studies 107 will cover the big picture and the nuts and bolts of building and running political campaigns for school boards, city councils, statewide offices, congressional seats and more.
