Civil Rights in 2018

Join us on Saturday, January 20, as we celebrate Dr. King’s Legacy with U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris and multi-platinum Grammy Award winning recording artist Faith Evans! For the second year in a row, we are proud to have the Senator speak at our MLK Day Breakfast. Now more than ever, we are looking at her leadership to lead California and our nation in the right direction.

We’re also honored to have Vanita Gupta as our keynote speaker. As President of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Vanita Gupta is carrying on the groundbreaking work she did under President Obama as head of the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice. The growing breadth of Civil Rights in 2018 honors what Dr. King achieved.

Learn more about her background here.
